Impatience
No blog would become reputed and popular in just a few months. You have to be patient, since it takes some time to build an audience and momentum is your friend. If you're not finding the audience you want yet, ask yourself:
Is my topic actually interesting to someone other than my mom and my cat?
Do I give my readers more than I ask to receive from them?

Lameness
Blogging is different from traditional advertising, and you will spend more money to reach attention. And if your content is lame, you don't find an audience and your message doesn't get through. If your content is fantastic, you'll find a nice-sized audience who love what you have to say. Many of those folks will be happy to give you additional money to get more of what you offer, whether in the form of an ebook, consulting time, a comprehensive membership site, or just a snazzy t-shirt.

Irrelevance
Blogs needs real interest, if you do not love your blog at the first place, then why the audience will pay a visit to your blog often? So next time, try to put some real passion into blog writing.

Uniqueness
I admit, you may feel inspired by some great blogs, but to get your own audience and become popular in blogging, you should have your own voice and unique thoughts. Visitors come to see what is your thought, not what you repeat what the others say.

Rudeness

The highest state of blogging is being interactive with the audience, and care about what your audience is thinking. And it is quite rude to just writing and writing and never know what your audience really wants.
