This can help you stick their attention and get your internet marketing message in front of the target customers.

It's also important to realize that when it regards to internet habits for men and women. Maybe you feel surprised at they are totally different online.

In the past women were considered to lag on the internet. However, the studies reveal that the actually fact is women use the internet more effectively and quicker than men. When women go online, almost all love to go to search useful information as shopping or life advice and various tips in every aspect. While men only takes it as an entertainment tool.

As we know the studies have been done that men and women use the internet differently, we can get lots of information on how to place our products on the internet for successful e-marketing.

Let's check what the past study done by Pew Internet and American Life. I believe all this information is applicable for your internet marketing today.

Men are more likely to use the internet to:

A few other interesting statistics that were provided in a different study done by Burst Media stated the following:

  • 51.7% of the women studied use the internet as the primary way to keep in touch with their families
  • 62.3% of women use the internet as their primary source for information on the products they were considering purchasing.

As we can find that men go internet to be entertained and hunt down information, while women tend to gather information that assists them in nurturing, themselves and those around them when online. Clearly while both men and women generally spend allotments of time online, gender stereotypes are prevalent in what they do with their time online.
